dating: First half of the 19th Century provenance: Europe, Triangular blade from an English small sword marked 'Honi Soit qui Mal y Pense' under a sun and between floral motifs on both sides. Brass hilt, S-shaped shell-guard and quillon engraved with floral motifs. Typical horn grip (missing parts) with brass cap. Wooden scabbard with remains of covering, the cap is missing. length 32.5 cm.
