The donkey is outfitted with two woven panniers, each containing a brown ceramic-style jar. A small white and brown dog stands at the boy's feet, looking toward the donkey. The underside features the blue underglaze Lladro factory mark with the tulip logo, Hand Made in Spain, and copyright Daisa 1982. Impressed marks on the base include H-29 and a circular stamp.
