This original oil painting on canvas, titled Emotional Intelligence, is a contemporary Pop-Surrealist work by American artist Mark Kostabi. The composition features two anthropomorphized anatomical figures against a luminous, monochromatic yellow background. On the left, a large, blue-hued brain with red-brown limbs stands in a contemplative pose. On the right, a red human heart with blue limbs is depicted kneeling while presenting a vibrant bouquet of multi-colored flowers, including yellow, purple, red, and white blossoms. The work is executed in the artist's signature style, characterized by smooth, airbrushed gradients, soft shading, and bold graphic outlines. The painting is signed and dated KOSTABI 2024 in red paint at the lower right corner. The verso of the canvas features extensive handwritten inscriptions in black ink, including the artist's stylized signature, the title EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE, the date 2024. There is a secondary notation at the bottom edge of the canvas reading 2-1-24- GALACTAN followed by a small geometric symbol.
