Zustand: restauriert. Simone del Tintore - Italian baroque artist, known mainly as a painter of still life. He was born, worked and died in North Italian city Lucca. He was a student of Pietro Paolini (1603-1681). Religious theme pictured in the Adoration of the Shepherds is a unique example ranking into a short period of painter's production, otherwise dedicated almost exclusively to still life, in some cases combined with figural motifs. Provenance: Foreign private collection. Equipped with a certificate from Dr. Antonella Peviani Schiavoni and with an export permission of Bundesdenkmalamt (Wien).
