The graphic design of the packaging and printed matters is inspired by the Bauhaus, the works by Kurt Schwitters and the De Stijls movement and rendered the Van Nelle Factory its unique corporate identity. Most of the items offered originate from Jac. Jonert, but a few designs may also derive from the designer Pieter den Besten (1894-1972), who took over the position of the latter. Since the great retrospective at the Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen in 2009/10, the prominence of the artistic designs by Jac.
