A FINE AND EXTREMELY RARE 'THREE-STRING' RHINOCEROS HORN VASE, LAIFU ZUN KANGXI FOUR-CHARACTER YUZHI MARK WITHIN A CIRCLE AND OF THE PERIOD (1662-1722) Of elegant slender high-shouldered form, the rounded body gently tapering towards the stepped foot-rim, the shoulder and base of the trumpet neck encircled by three evenly-spaced rings, the material of a warm honey tone with darker walnut-brown striations, the four-character mark, Kangxi Yuzhi, 'Made by the Imperial Command of Kangxi', carved in relief within a raised circle to the recessed base 6 in.
