Lot description
This mid-century modern Swedish art glass vase was designed by Vicke Lindstrand for Orrefors as part of the Stella Polaris series. The piece is executed in heavy lead crystal with a subtle ice blue tint. The design features a mold-blown and hand-finished construction with thick walls and an organic, six-lobed form defined by deep vertical fluting. The base is hand-etched with the Orrefors signature.
