Ron Lee (American, 1947-2017). Polychrome enameled cast metal figurine titled Jake-A-Jugglin Cylinder, model PD006 from the Premier Collection. The figure depicts a clown in a dynamic pose lying on his back while balancing a cylinder decorated with a blue star on his feet. The clown is dressed in a pink tunic, blue and pink polka-dotted trousers, and orange and green striped sleeves, accented with a blue and gold crown. The figure is mounted to a gold-tone metal plate with a beaded border, set upon a substantial rough-cut white onyx base. Signed Ron and dated 93 in black ink on the stone surface. The underside retains the original manufacturer label with model and collection identification on a black felt pad.
