Lot description

The composition displays the fragmented perspective and structured arrangement characteristic of the Cubist movement. Artist signed lower right. Presented in a decorative wood frame. The verso retains illegible pencil hand-inscribed notations along the top and is accompanied by an old handwritten note reading Nature Mort A La Guitare, translating to Still Life with Guitar, with references to Louis Marcoussis and Composite Cubiste. Work Size: 8.5 x 5 in. Dimensions: 10.5 X 6.75 X 1 in. Condition: Good overall condition with typical to mild age-related surface wear. There is slight looseness to the canvas.
