Erich Wolfsfeld, German / British 1884-1956- Five seated figures in Middle-Eastern dress; etching on paper, signed 'Erich Wolfsfeld' (in pencil, lower right), 30.2 x 37.4 cm. ARR. Provenance: Private Collection, UK. Note: Wolfsfeld studied at the Berlin Academy, and later at the Académie Julian in Paris. He travelled widely over the course of his career, including to North Africa and the Middle East, often depicting the figures and landscapes he encountered.
