Lot description
Heavy-walled clear crystal vase of square, tapering form with a slightly flared and undulating rim. The figure is rendered in a stylized mid-century modernist manner with flowing hair and delicate proportions. The engraving shows varied depths of frost and clear lines that provide a three-dimensional effect. The vase is crafted from high-quality crystal with a thick, weighted base. The front face features a fine intaglio copper-wheel engraving depicting the goddess Diana (Artemis) standing beside a leaping deer, a classic design by Vicke Lindstrand. The underside of the vase is unmarked. Dimensions: 5.75"L x 5.75"W x 9.00"H Weight: 6.60 lb
