Attributed to Petrus van Schendel (Belgium/Brussels, 1806-1870) oil on canvas with figures in candlelight, signed and dated 1851 to lower, in a frame. [Framed: 65" H x 56" W]. Condition is good to fair with evident restoration, and an abrasion to one area. From the private collection of Dr. Geoffrey Scott Carroll.
