OTTO MODERSOHN (Soest 1865–1943 Rotenburg) Bäuerin am Wümmewehr. 1908. Oil on cardboard. 56.5 × 74 cm. Provenance: - Estate Otto Modersohn/Johanna Eissler/Christian Modersohn. - Private collection Switzerland, acquired directly from the above in 1996 and by descent to the present owners. The authenticity of the work was confirmed by Christian Modersohn, 15 December 1996 (verso with handwritten note on the label of the Otto Modersohn Gesellschaft).
