Elio Raffaeli (Italian, born 1936), Murano glass shark sculpture featuring an elongated streamlined form, executed in smoked and clear blown glass with sculpted fins and detailed gill lines. The shark exhibits a fluid modernist form characteristic of mid-century Murano studio glass design. Signed Elio Raffaeli to the lower side of the body. Dimensions: 7.5 X 32.5 X 10.5 in. Condition: Good to fair overall condition with normal surface wear consistent with display and handling, and a chip to the tip of one side fin.
