ENRIQUE MARTINEZ CELAYA (CA/CUBA, 1964 - ) "Like a Rock", pencil on primed canvas board, depicting a bird in a window, titled verso, also marked "Being self-aware", illegibly signed and dated 2011. In white shadowbox frame, floated behind glass. Includes catalog from exhibition "The Cliff", 23 April - 19 May 2011at the Liverpool Gallery of East Sydney, NSW. Painter, sculptor, poet and scholar, the artist was born in Havana, Cuba and graduated Magna cum Laude with a BS in Physics from Cornell in 1986 before beginning his artistic career.
