Blue Corn (born Crucita Gonzales Calabaza, 1921-1999) renowned Native American Indian potter from San Ildefonso Pueblo, New Mexico. Of ovoid form with short cylindrical neck and wide mouth. Decorated with hand painted polychrome geometric motifs in black and tan, including banded and linear designs. Matte finish exterior with natural clay interior. Underside with engraved artist name. Dimensions: 5 X 3.75 X 3.75 in. Condition: Good overall condition with normal surface wear having mild paint losses.
