Petal Series collage (wood block printing, painting encaustic on hand-made paper) and marble construction, signed, titled, dated and numbered to verso Petal Series/Sam Gilliam. This work is number 5 of 14 apart from the total edition of 60, 20 each of three varying sizes, printed by William Weege and published by Enterprise, Off Jones Road Print Shop, Barneveld, Wisconsin, and assisted by graduate art students from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. 15 1/4 x 15 1/4"
