Lot description

Henry van de Velde, Paper knife, 1899, L. 20.7 cm. Ivory, silver-plated metal. Unmarked., Föhl/Neumann, Henry van de Velde, Vol. I, Metallkunst, Leipzig 2009, p. 726 (identical). An EC certificate has been issued for this lot by the Department for Climate and Environmental Protection of the City of Munich, which allows objects with ivory to be marketed within the European Union.
