Y JOHN MIERS Mid-19th Century Two silhouette portrait miniatures, both signed "Miers" for John Miers of Miers & Field: 1) Gilded gentleman. Set within a gold-tone brooch. Overall 1.25" x 1". 2) English example of a woman, likely painted on ivory. Housed in an oval paper case with original paper label for jeweler Mier's, London. Overall 2" x 1.75".
