Martin LaBorde (American, born 1943), Echo, 1982, oil on canvas surrealist composition depicting a reclining stylized figure set within a warm tonal landscape. The figures arm is extended outward, directed toward a luminous crescent moon with a humanized face. The work is signed "LaBorde" and dated 82 in the lower right. The verso bears additional inscriptions including the title, medium, and date. The work is presented in a minimalist wood frame. Work Size: 24 x 20 in. Dimensions: 24.5 X 20.5 X 1.5 in. Condition: Good overall condition with typical age related surface wear. A small scratch at upper right corner is present. The frame exhibits normal storage wear along the edges and corners.
