Joachim Weingart, Polish 1895-1942 - Flowers; gouache on paper, signed in pencil lower right 'Weingart', 55.3 x 43.1 cm (unframed) Provenance: the Family of the Artist; with Gimpel Fils, London GF17674 Note: Weingart studied in Berlin and Vienna, before moving to Paris in the 1920s alongside his friend Zygmunt Menkes. Here his work was first discovered by legendary French dealer René Gimpel during the 1930s.
