Bijan Bahar (Irani, 1936–2016) Brass Pelikan Sculpture Circa 1970-1980. Irani This is a striking Mid-Century Modern stylized pelican sculpture by the renowned artist Bijan Bahar. A classic example of Hollywood Regency design. The piece features a sleek, minimalist bird cast in polished brass with a vibrant, golden luster. The sculpture is mounted on a solid, circular marble base, providing a sophisticated contrast between the warm metal and the cool, natural stone. The piece is signed 'Bijan' in a metal plaque attached to the base.
