Lot description
This serigraph on paper by American artist Frederick McDuff (1931-2011) is titled Geranium, Giverny. The artwork depicts an Impressionistic garden scene with two figures in white attire seated amidst greenery and red flowers. The print is hand-signed Frederick McDuff in pencil in the lower right margin and titled Geranium, Giverny in the lower center. It is numbered 204/285 in pencil in the lower left margin. The piece is housed in an ornate gilt-finished wood frame with scrolling foliate motifs and is set behind a double mat of cream and sage green. The reverse includes a gallery label for Artworks / Foxcroft and a hanging wire. Dimensions 26.00"L x 21.25"W Weight 6.50 lb
