Lot description
This limited edition polychrome bronze sculpture titled Ember is the work of artist Tim Cotterill, professionally known as Frogman. The piece is produced using the lost wax casting method and features a hand-applied patina that transitions from a pale yellow throat to a vibrant orange and deep red body. The stylized frog is depicted with high-gloss black limbs that terminate in polished bronze-toned rounded tips. The underside of the torso bears the cast mark FROGMAN. The undersides of the webbed feet are incised with the artist's cursive signature Tim and the edition number 1932/5000. This sculpture is part of The Miniature Collection and is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity from Frogman, Inc., which confirms the title, edition details, and a purchase date of May 14, 2010.
