EUGENIO AVOLIO (1876 - 1929): THE TRIUMPH OF NEPTUNE a set of early 20th century Italian silvered bronze figures in the Baroque style, based on the sculpture by Bernini, depicting Nepture with his triton on a rocky plinth, with hippocampi and dolpins, together with a pair of classical male figures raised on rocky plinths with upturned urns beside, signed 'E. Avolio', all raised on gilt bronze 18th century style plinths, the main figure 58cm high (3)
