Lot description
Bernard Villemot Air France / French Riviera vintage poster 1952 39.25 h x 24.25 w in (100 x 62 cm) It's difficult to tell whether Villemot has chosen Nice's Promenade des Anglais, or Cannes' Corniche for his subject, but he surely captures the easy beauty of France's Mediterranean coast for English-speaking Air France flyers. The same design also advertised the Cote d'Azur (see PAI-XLV, 511). Hubert Baille, Paris Literature: Bon Salle, 225; PAI-LXXI, 154 This work will ship from Chicago, Illinois.
