Vincent Guerra Air France / Paris vintage poster 1951 39.5 h x 24.375 w in (100 x 62 cm) To celebrate Paris' 2000th birthday, Guerra pays homage to the past and present of the city by layering a Gallic Parisii tribesman with the Fontaines de la Concorde, the Eiffel Tower, and an Air France plane. Other versions of this poster bear text in English and French that reads "Paris is two thousand years old," but this version keeps it typographically simple.
