Eric (Raoul Eric Castel) Air France / Corse vintage poster 1949 39.25 h x 24.5 w in (100 x 62 cm) This Air France poster of Corsica presents a luminous Mediterranean dreamscape, where a deep blue sea meets a soft turquoise sky and sculptural cliffs rise in sweeping, almost architectural forms. Perched above, the small monastery and clustered buildings lend a sense of quiet life and timeless charm, reinforcing the island's balance of rugged grandeur and intimate, human scale. Eric, who built his career designing bold, modern travel posters for major commercial clients, brings a painterly yet graphic clarity to the scene, distilling Corsica's natural beauty into an inviting composition that feels both dramatic and warmly accessible. Havas, Paris Literature: Air France, p. 34; Airways, p. 126 This work will ship from Chicago, Illinois.
