Albert Paley Exceptional Balcony Railing for a Private Residence USA, 1989 forged and fabricated steel 95 h x 148.75 w x 18 d in (241 x 378 x 46 cm) Paley was commissioned to make this railing for the second floor of a split-level private residence on one of Philadelphia's most iconic streets, Delancey Place. He conceived of it as a theatrical viewing point, with the right and left transitions relating to the walls. Impressed signature and date to side rail '© Paley Studios LTD. 1989'.
