José Antonio Velásquez (Honduran, 1906-1983) oil painting on panel depicting a group of ladies and a priest chatting as they walk along the street past white-washed houses with red tile roofs that add color to the scene. A church is seen on the edge of the lush green hilly landscape. One of the artist's classic Honduras genre pieces. Signed Honduras CA and dated 1967 lower left. No. 9 on verso.
