José Antonio Velásquez (Honduran, 1906-1983) oil painting on panel depicting a priest and a lady walking along a winding village street past white-washed houses with red tile roofs, as a dog guards the scene. The white church rises up on the green hills. A fine example of the artist's Honduras genre artwork. Signed Honduras CA and dated 1968 lower left. Presented in a painted and black covered frame.
