William Frederick Mitchell (British, 1845-1914) HMS 'Furious', a sailing steamship signed and dated 'W. F. Mitchell 1874' l.r., numbered '562' l.l., watercolour heightened with white (25 x 36cm; framed 43 x 53cm) Condition Report: Time staining commensurate with age and a couple of tiny dark speckles however presents well overall. Extensive text about the ship's history on a sheet of paper verso. Not viewed out of glazed frame.
