Leonard Lennie Edward Kesl (American, 1926-2012) black white engraving on paper. Titled : Proof of Family for My Own Keeping dated 1956. The work depicts a trio of stylized nude figures against a dark ground in a bold, primitive expressionist style, with etched linear features and anatomical exaggeration. Signed and dated in pencil lower right, with title inscribed lower left. Presented in a black colored wood frame. Work size: approximately 7.75' x 8.25" Dimensions: 13.25 X 13 X ..75 in. Condition: Good overall condition having normal surface wear, with foxing and toning to the mat. Frame exhibits storage wear to edges and corners. Has not been examined outside of the frame.
