Lot description
A print of a Will Elder color portrait of Jerry Garcia with the artist's printed signature and date to the bottom right. Together with a handwritten note from Elder's assistant to Steve which reads: "Steve - / Will Elder's agent thought some people close to Jerry might want a copy of portrait by Elder - / what do you think? / Maybe Tiff would want one - / Do as you see fit." Jerry thought of foundational Mad Magazine illustrator and comic artist Will Elder as a hero.
