Lot description
An original poster related to Mickey Hart's 1972 debut solo studio album Rolling Thunder, signed on the front by artist Stanley Mouse. The poster reads: "Rolling Thunder - Mickey Hart of the Grateful Dead - David Freiberg Stephen Stills John Cippolina Jerry Garcia Barry Melton Tower of Power Horns Grace Slick Phil Lesh Greg Errico Paul Kanter Alla Rahka Bob Weir Zakir Hussain." Along with Alton Kelley, Stanley Mouse's psychedelic posters for the Grateful Dead, Journey, Styx, and others came to define the look and feel of the 1960s. His relationship with the Dead developed organically, with Mouse and Kelley living across the street from the band's 710 Ashbury Street residence.
