Chris DeRubeis (American, born 1978), Northern Lights, 2012, mixed media on metal depicting a cosmic vortex scene with a spiraling galaxy of stars rendered in blue and iridescent colors suggestive of an aurora within an abstract composition. The artist signature appears lower right. Hand inscribed title on metal verso. Documentation on the verso identifies the artist, title, medium, dimensions, and year. Listed as an original. Presented under plexiglass in a frame. Approximate sight size 25" x 35". Dimensions: 32 X 43.5 X 1.5 in. Condition: Good overall condition with typical to mild surface wear. The frame exhibits storage wear to the edges and corners. The work has not been examined outside of the frame.
