Orrefors crystal bowls in the "Thousand Windows" patern, designed by Simon Gate. These heavy, clear cut crystal footed bowls, typical of Scandinavian art glass from the mid-20th century, feature wide, ï¬ared mouths and stand on short, solid pedestal bases. The geometric decorative cutting consists of alternating deep vertical prismatic cuts separated by panels that contain rows of broad, semi-circular, and elliptical ï¬at cuts, creating the signature "Thousand Windows" eï¬ect.
