V and VI bound together); volume one with engraved bust of Homer bound as frontispiece; ex libris Hannah Vincent, with her signature on the title pages of the first five volumes; volume I with 2 full-page engravings and one folding engraved map; the set bound in very nice uniform full contemporary English paneled calf with the inclusion of a remarkable receipt for the binding work made out by the original binder to "The Reverend Mr. Vincent," and dated 1721; the binder notes "Sir, I have hear [sic] sent you the popes homer, & I am your humble servant T.
