Lot description

This large-scale original acrylic painting on canvas is by the Pop Brazilian artist Jozza, titled About Glamour. The work features a multi-layered composition of iconic pop culture characters including Homer and Marge Simpson, Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Daisy and Scrooge McDuck, and Popeye and Olive Oyl. These figures are overlaid upon a pink-toned background featuring a halftone portrait of Marilyn Monroe and repeated luxury brand monograms. Textual elements and logos such as ART IS NOT A CRIME, ROLEX, and symbols for Chanel and Louis Vuitton are integrated throughout, alongside graffiti-style drips, dollar signs, and crowns. The reverse is inscribed with the title, dimensions, the medium of acrylic, and Jozza's stylized artist signature. ArtistJozza (Brazilian) Dimensions58.00"L x 2.00"W x 78.00"H Weight25.80 lb
