Bronze with a burnished gold patina depicting graduates and young scholars boarding a ship to higher education and success. Signed lower right. On a marble plinth 14" X 7" X 1". Provenance: Estate collection of William and Betty Brooks, Detroit, MI. William Brooks was a Civil Rights pioneer while Betty Brooks was a prominent figure in regional and national arts and civic organizations. Dimensions: H 14" W 23" Depth 6"
