November, Paris, 1991 (Closed Room) Bettina RHEIMS Created in Paris in 1991, this photograph forms part of Bettina Rheims’s seminal Chambre Close series, produced between 1990 and 1992 and marking her decisive shift to color photography. Working in modest Parisian hotels, Rheims staged her models within intimate interiors rich in texture, pattern, and psychological tension.
