Joachim Weingart, Polish 1895-1942 - Flowers; gouache on paper, 53.2 x 42 cm (unframed) Provenance: the Family of the Artist; with Gimpel Fils, London GF17676 Note: Weingart studied in Berlin and Vienna, before moving to Paris in the 1920s alongside his friend Zygmunt Menkes. Here his work was first discovered by legendary French dealer René Gimpel during the 1930s.
