Mittig auf der Flanke des Ochsen monogrammiert: LM (ligiert). 86,1 × 73,4 cm. Provenienz: Schweizer Privatbesitz. Diese kürzlich in einer Schweizer Privatsammlung entdeckte, stimmungsvolle Verkündigung an die Hirten ist eine eigenhändige Zweitversion des in Florenz tätigen flämischen Malers Lieven Mehus. Die Komposition findet sich in einem Gemälde, heute in einer Privatsammlung in Florenz, wiederholt. Siehe Marco Chiarini: Livio Mehus.
