Lot description
tempera and collage on wood 40 x 33 cm Original painting made by Luzzati depicting one of his most beloved and reproduced subjects: Collodi's puppet. Among the most beautiful works ever made by the Ligurian master for Pinocchio, it showcases his incredible technical mastery of collage for the draping of the costumes, a technique Luzzati employed throughout his career. Theater and fairy tales, Luzzati's two great passions, are captured in a museum-worthy work. Signed.
