Signed and dated by the artist to the bottom right, after the work originally created by Joseph Malachy Kavanagh, an Irish painter who is known for his painting landscapes, seascapes, rural scenes in Ireland, France and Belgium and occasional portraits. 18 in. x 12 in. for the painting, 20 in. x 14 in. for the frame.
