Lot description
A framed print of French artist Henri-Julien Dumont's painting "Still Life with Lilacs" that depicts a large arrangement of multicolored blossoms, including white and purple lilacs, resting on a blue and tan surface. Accessories associated with leisure are included in the composition: a woven straw hat with a red-and-white striped ribbon, a light-colored folding fan, and a yellow-covered French book. A walking stick with a wooden shaft and a figural metal handle extends diagonally across the foreground. The image is signed and dated "Dumont 1902" in the lower right corner of the print.
