DOMINIQUE ALONZO Late 19th century Paris GEISHA* France, circa 1920 Chryselephantine, bronze, dark patina, face and hands carved from ivory, on square stone base (H. 2 cm). H. 21, W. 6, D. 6 cm, weight approx. 1.42 kg. Unsigned, probably Dominique Alonzo. Partially preserved and repaired, hand renewed, rest. CITES marketing certificate is available. Please note that due to the current CITES regulations for ivory and tortoiseshell objects, unrestricted trade is only permitted within the European Community. An export license is required for shipment to third countries. Please inform yourself about the current import regulations for ivory and tortoiseshell in your country.
