Henry Koehler (American, 1927-2018), The Bathing Corp. of Southampton, a color offset print on paper depicting a lively beach scene with sunbathers, umbrellas, and a clubhouse set beneath a pink-hued sky. The print is pencil signed by the artist at the lower right, titled and dated circa 1961 in the lower margin, and numbered 711/750 from the limited edition. Known for his refined depictions of sporting life and American leisure culture, Koehler captures both atmosphere and composition with elegance. The work is presented under glass in a gilt frame. Approximate sight size is 15 inches high by 19.5 inches wide. Dimensions: 21.25 X 25.25 X .75 in. Condition: Good overall condition with surface wear, foxing and toning. Frame exhibits storage wear with losses to edges and corners. Has not been inspected outside of the frame.
