Charles Loupot Canton Fourrures / 24 Rue de Bourg vintage poster 1924 50.25 h x 35.5 w in (128 x 90 cm) This Art Deco advertising poster was designed by Charles Loupot for Canton Fourrures, a Swiss retailer specializing in luxury fur goods. The elegantly fur-clad woman, appearing to drift above the clouds, was first conceived in 1924, when Canton Fourrures commissioned a striking image to announce its new location at 24 Rue de Bourg in Lausanne. In later years, as the company relocated, the address on the poster was updated and the signature in the upper right was altered from "Ch. Loupot" to "d'apres Ch. Loupot."
