Charcoal drain. 34 x 44,5 cm. Matted and framed under glass, uninspected out of frame. Lower right signed Kother. - German Expressionist painter, draughtsman and graphic artist. Studied at the Leipzig Academy of Art and the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Dresden. In 1922 he was awarded the Prize of Honour of the Prussian Academy of Arts by Max Liebermann. Lit.: Vollmer
